Five screens floating in the air show five sets of continuously looping videos. These are placed at the entrance so as to function as a medium which leads viewers into the exhibition. Images portray incessant movements of erasing borders between places - thus heading toward the Unknown Zone. This piece uses a combination of digital two dimensional image manipulation and creation techniques with video composition technique. Videos are projected onto five semi-transparent acrylic panels from the rear. ZiiHiion, a Korean singer, performed in this work. Dressed as a Korean medium, or shaman, she was recorded on film and composited with other visual elements.
