Stochastic Study

-Read Chapter I "Free Stochastic Music" of Formalized Music by Iannis Xenakis (you should skip the formulas and focus on the philosophical and musical aspects of the text). Read also chapter V "Free Stochastic Music by Computer", pages 131 to 154 (again, you can skip the formulas and the computer code, focus on the content of the chapter). You can find this text here.

-After doing the reading, sketch out the plan for a short (1 to 2 minutes) Stochastic Study based on granular principles. You should use the "Fundamental Phases of a Musical Work" (page. 22) as a guide.

-Render your study using the code written for the first part of the assigment. You should use this sample: snare.aiff as the only sound source for your study.

-Turn in your written sketch, the formal plan of your study, and your SuperCollider code.
