Turn In:You will listen to this foundational piece of computer music numerous times during the quarter to see how your perceptions of it change with exposure to the class materials and more information about the piece itself.

On this first listening the assignment is to listen to the piece carefully at least TWICE and write down a few paragraphs on your impressions. Include both your subjective response (emotions, associations, reactions, confusions, insights, etc.) and objective observations (form of the piece, comparison/contrast of the types of sounds used, timbre, pitch range, discrete versus continuous events, etc.)
